Even though they’re marketed toward teens, Forever 21 is one of my guilty pleasures.
To be honest, I don’t go gaga over their dresses – although I like most of what I’ve bought throughout the years! The main reason why I still shop at Forever 21 is because they can be dirt cheap.
What to expect at Forever 21’s Season Ender sales
While I like buying a shirt or a dress at regular price, I go crazy whenever Forever 21 holds a season-ender sale. Unlike other stores, where a “sale” doesn’t really feel like a “sale,” here I can shop ’til I drop without feeling guilty like at all. You can buy a dress for as low as P150! Of course that’s really rare (I was able to buy a good dress for just P175 I think a year ago though!) and you really need to dig into hangers and hangers of clothes.
Also, don’t expect to see the good stuff right away. Piled with good clothes are clothes with tears, but don’t lose hope. There might be a real gem hiding behind what seems to be a reject pile.
Last Saturday, my fambam and I went to SM Lanang Premier because Toy Kingdom was having a sale. But I was sorely disappointed. There were very few toys on sale, and almost all of them were tiny action figures. Yuri doesn’t really play with action figures. None of the Legos were also on sale, so we left the store empty-handed.
My sister really wanted to check out Forever 21’s season ender sale though, so Yuri and his grandparents went home while we stayed behind. (They didn’t really have any business at Forever 21 hehe.) After 3 hours of looking through layers and layers of clothes, we were finally ready to check out.
(My teen sister bought more clothes than me. Which is a no-brainer because she is the store’s target market. I only bought the classic pieces while she took home the trendier ones.)
Note: The dresses with orange downs, aside from the big mark-down, are buy 1-take 1. Whut.
Our Forever 21 Sale Finds
This is actually too big for my slender sister but she loves it. Are oversized dresses back in trend now? She’ll wear it with sneakers daw. I’m such a tita.
And for my final act…
As my friend George said, hindi lang mga payat ang may karapatang mag-swimsuit! Hahahaha!
