How was your Christmas?
I have come into terms with the fact that I won’t be able to blog properly until everything goes back to normal (hopefully during the first week of January!), but I found just enough time to squeeze in an update post. Here are the highlights of our Christmas, 2015!
Christmas Eve started with me meeting my SAHM (Stay At Home Mum) Team PH friends — in other words, my work friends. We met for lunch where we, ten tenen tenen, exchanged gifts! We had lunch at Cafe Teresita near GMA Shrine Hills, which is owned by the owner of Jive Highland Resort. Why we ate there? It’s a long story! I’ll tell you about it in a post especially devoted to the one about our trip to Buda. Abangan!
I got this oh-so-wonderful gift from Julie, our colleague from La Carlota, Negros Occidental:
Actually, I asked for it and then she threw in blocks for Yuri and a Hong Kong keychain (which I gave to mama, a collector of key chains!). Thank you Julie!
I felt embarrassed because I had gifts prepared for them. However, when I got home last weekend from our Buda getaway, I found that house “rats” ate my gifts! Babawi nalang ako, pramith.
Thank you Julie for the gift of brush lettering and calligraphy!!!

In the afternoon, another wonderful surprise came:
Yuri’s papa!
Bringing Yuri’s Christmas wish, a level-up bike!
Before any of you gets the wrong idea, there are no wedding bells ringing yet, but who knows? This might be a step closer.
Unlike the past years, we opened our gifts in the Christmas morning. Unfortunately, I was too busy opening Yuri’s presents (thank you titas and ninangs!) — and cleaning up afterward — that I wasn’t able to take a picture of the joyful mess. Ugh, that should have been the ultimate joyful mess boohoo.
So here’s a photo of Yuri enjoying one of his gifts instead:
Someone is enjoying his new light saber! Thanks ninang Katz!

We ate and ate and ate.
And then we attended a (short-notice) family reunion, the Cuison side of my mother:
Sister, sister! #fotd #selfie

On the day after Christmas, we went to our lot to check it out. I have a long story reserved about it. Seems like I’ll have a lot of blog-catching up to do on January!
And then just tonight, Yuri went with Mama and my sister to my mother’s office party. Yuri and I were supposed to go but I didn’t feel like going and wanted to stay home. Ideally, Yuri should have stayed home too, but at the last minute, he insisted on going so I immediately dressed him up in Christmasy clothes. It’s probably the last time he’s going to be able to wear this top since it’s already a bit short for him!
Somebody went on a short-notice Christmas party without meee!!! #christmas2015 #christmasparty #toddlersofinstagram #toddlerootd

And I practised brush lettering and calligraphy in between…

Such a busy Christmas indeed! Great gifts, too! The lightsaber gift was just perfect — for me! 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Mommy. 🙂
Merry Christmas! How I missed being a kid when all I have to do is wait for the holidays to come and enjoy the vacation and the gifts…

That was a full sked you have right there! We had a fun and memorable Christmas celebration since my parents were able to join us this year. 🙂
A very busy Christmas! 🙂 I can just imagine Yuri playing with his light saber all day long – kasi that’s what happened to Vito. These kids are lucky to have lightsabers! Ha! 😀 Happy New Year, dearie! :-*
Decembers are always busy. Too many things to do, with so little time… i think we should make Decembers 35+ days. I personally lost track what happened to all those holidays 😉
Nice handwriting!(: That’s a very thoughtful (and useful) gift!(:
Oh! And I would love to have a light saber too! Hehe (:
Very busy but with the family is one of the treasure moment during December, nakakainggit. kasi this is our first December na wala ang husband ko. But its okay..
Our Christmas and New Year were pretty simple. Our son was able to bond with his cousins last Christmas, but we weren’t able to see them again this New Year because Justin and his Dad weren’t feeling well yesterday, but they’re both okay now.
Merry Christmas! Looks like your little one had so much fun! Keep it up with your Calligraphy!
Same here sis, super busy last December and trying to catch up all my pending this month. Belated Merry Christmas 🙂
