Christmas Bazaar at the Davao Convention Center

Christmas Bazaar at the Davao Convention Center

I was supposed to be on a spending fast this month not just because Christmas is coming but because we’re on a tighter budget now. Papa is on a lot of medication, still undergoes dialysis, and just had a minor surgery last Saturday.

However, when I learned that the annual Christmas bazaar is happening over the weekend, I just wasn’t able to say no. (Don’t worry; I didn’t spend a lot! I set a budget — and stayed within it. Woot!)

Today is the Christmas Bazaar’s last day so instead of showing you what I bought, I decided to post pictures of the things that caught my interest. If you’re in Davao today, you still have a chance to catch the last day! From what I’ve heard, it’s usually best to go to bazaars during their final day because prices of goods usually go down.

I wasn’t able to take a picture of everything (because the area is so big and there were so many booths), but these are some of the stuff sold there:

Have you visited a Christmas bazaar lately? What did you buy?

I love bazaars! Great Christmas ideas on the photos! =)
(FYI) By the way, I couln’t see the photos on my mobile, I had to open it from my laptop. I’m not sure if it’s just on my side. =)

mabuti pa jan sa Davao kasi walang trafic, unlike here in MAnila anh hirap lumabas at pumunta sa mga Bazaars, kasi siksikan trafic plus mainit. May sasakyan ka man or commute ganin pa din.

I’m not really fond of bazaars, the closest thing to it I’ve visited is probably the Alaska Merry Cremas 2015 Food Fair.

Naku weakness ko ang mga bazaars. Di ako pwede pumunta sa ganyan na may dalang pera or sadyang mauubos! Hehehehe

I’m not very fond of Christmas bazaars. The prices of the stuff I like are the same as the store’s, so I choose going to the mall instead where I can return if broken or something.

I agree though that it’s hard to resist “shopping.” I remember one time, I was soo stressed with finances that I shopped to death and shocked my husband, hahaha!

I love going to bazaars, I always go home with an eco bag full of stuff, haha. I wish I can join one in the future, selling some of my handmade items.

I enjoy going to bazaars, but since last year, I have stopped going because of the traffic (both foot traffic in the bazaar and vehicular traffic to and from) situation here in Manila. Extra effort needed! Ha ha

Never been to a Christmas bazaar before. We grew up thinking not celebrating or observing Christmas (as taught by my mother), now, I still don’t buy christmas lights and christmas trees pero I think of December as a time to give gifts. Muoliay na mig Davao! wooooh! ♥

Bazaar is one of the best places to go especially on Christmas. They offer great and unique finds, price might not be affordable for some but reasonable

I love bazaars because this is where locally made stuff are usually sold. 🙂 Thankfully, there’s a bazaar right across our office every weekend! 🙂

I am not very fond of bazaars. I think the last time I shopped there was over a decade ago hehe

Haven’t been to bazaars lately but I do visit the stalls in malls like in Festival. What I love the most is the local items that they sell, yum yum!

I learned my lesson over the years not to shop 2 weeks before Christmas! Grabe! It’s chaotic! Kaya as early as now, tinatapos ko na Christmas list ko. 😉

Bazaars give the local entrepreneurs a chance to showcase their products. I love bazaars! definitely lots of interesting things in it but I had to restrain myself. Lisod pag walay budget!
