I haven’t posted any haul post lately. Must be because I haven’t been buying anything lately? Haha that’s probably the reason why!
Aside from the obvious fact that it’s almost Christmas (can you believe it) and I’m trying to save money for Christmas gifts (emphasis on trying huhu), I find myself spending on food instead of stuff. That’s unlike me because I usually prefer buying stuff over food – must explain the weight gain I’ve had lately?
But that doesn’t mean I’m not window shopping. Oh no, far from that. In fact, I’ve been doing nothing but check online websites. For weeks now. I’m very busy at work (and I’ve been having personal problems — read: LQ), so I’m relieving stress by online window shopping. Who doesn’t love online window shopping? You get the same happy hormone rush as if you’re actually shopping without the buyer’s remorse.
Okay I take it back. It’s not exactly like actual shopping. But it’s still stress-relieving — at least for me! Here are the stuff I’ve been planning to buy (but keep on delaying because I’m one kuripot lady):
I’ve been needing a new phone for months now! The screen of my trusty Asus cracked ages ago (totally my fault after I forcefully dropped it 6 feet from the ground), and while it didn’t affect the performance, it’s just a huge eye sore. Like what I always say, it grows like the West Valley Fault.
So I’ve been looking for a replacement phone for ages now, too. Should have been a no-brainer except for one thing: I’m totally stingy when it comes to gadgets. I have a super low budget when it comes to phones — my bags tend to be pricier than my phones. Ergo, my choices are totally limited.
Alcatel Flash 2 seems to be a good choice (my original choice actually), but I don’t know, even after several weeks of watching it go on sale, its form really doesn’t grow on me. I’m looking for something more rectangular and straighter; I’m not feeling its curved edges.
On the other hand, I’m liking this Lenovo phone but it’s out of the budget (I told you I have a really low budget for smartphones!), so I’m waiting for a new one to be launched anytime this month. Please. Let me have a new phone before Christmas.
I don’t know what happened but I suddenly have an appreciation for makeup. After years of going out wearing nothing but pressed powder and tinted lip balm, now, I can’t go outside the house (even just to my home office) without having my brows made up. I feel naked without it! Now I’m exploring other makeup products like foundation, blush, lipstick…
Especially lipstick! It has always bothered me that my lips look so pale in pictures but I’m always too lazy to swipe a coat of lipstick. Lately I’ve been exploring. I have yellow/warm undertones so I’m dying to try orange lipstick. My mum gave me a red-orangey lipstick and I loved it!
3. Tablet for Yuri
I let Yuri play with the phone or with a tablet. Yeah, yeah, I know; don’t crucify me. It’s not as if all he does is use gadgets — he just spends 23 hours a day using them. I kid, I kid LOL. He’s using an O+ tablet but sadly its battery is almost giving up. I’m planning to buy it a new battery and use it for myself to work (who am I kidding? I’m going to use it on useless stuff) and buy Yuri a super cheap one that’s not heavy on the
I’m not very familiar with cheap tablets (around P2,000 price range), but Cherry Mobile has just released one within the price range so I might buy it!
4. A Sauna Suit
The most expensive on this list! Hahaha. I’m curious to try a sauna suit after my work colleague, Sarah, swore by it. Sure, I may just lose water weight but at least I’m losing weight. At a dirt-cheap price of just below P300, there’s nothing to lose! I might buy one this week. We’ll see! 😀
