A month ago, just a couple of weeks before Christmas, I was invited to an event hosted by one of my trusted brands when it comes to Yuri: Mott’s Apple Juice.
Yuri is a drink-person. He loves drinking (more like gulping) water and fruit juices throughout the day. Sometimes milk, more often water and juice. In fact, right now, he’s just back from the playground and thirstily drinking fresh calamansi juice.
So unless I have fresh fruit on hand (read: citrus), I always make sure that I have some juice in the fridge. Of course, I prefer them to be sugar-free and, as much as possible, free from most unwanted additives.
We do buy several brands of juices but when it comes to apple juice, I always go back to my failproof brand, which is Mott’s. I am such a loyalist that I even wrote about it in my old blog! For starters, it’s sugar-free and is 100% apple juice. No unnecessary flavouring or, ick, food colouring.
Second, it has a high dose of Vitamin C, perfect for building up the immune system of my preschooler. An 8 fl oz serving provides 2 fruit servings per day! My son loves fruit but we don’t always have access to fresh ones so 100% fruit juice does well in a pinch.
Third, even I enjoy it because it tastes just like apple cider. Promise! All I need to do is grab a goblet, pour some chilled Mott’s apple juice into it, and feel like an adult. Drink it like it was real apple cider and they would be none the wiser. Haha!
Anyway, it’s already clear now how much I love Mott’s, so when I received an invitation from them to attend their Davao event, I couldn’t say no of course. Here are some pictures from the event, which was held in a new restaurant called Rekado (note to self: I must return to that restaurant!):
I even bumped into a former colleague, Charity, who runs this travel blog.
I had to leave before the event ended because I still had to go somewhere, but before I went home, I dropped by OMF Literature which was just less than a block away from the restaurant. I got my membership card (after more than one year since application!) and bought some books and trinkets.
And then we enjoyed these bottles of Mott’s… for two days? Gotta have more!

We also have a bottle of Mott’s apple juice inside our cart every grocery day. Best if chilled!
my kid loves to drink water and juices only, but for some reason she doesn’t like milk. Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll look for motts later when I go to the grocery then. Maybe Jenae will love it too 🙂
Mott’s apple juice is ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Kids love it!
I drank alooooot of apple juice when I still had gallstones. The first brand I tried wasn’t good. Motts Apple Juice though is very tasty!
I would like to have a taste of this Mott’s Apple Juice.
Haven’t tasted Motts yet. We are fond of juices so I’d try a small bottle when I do my grocery.
we love Mott’s din! And the empty bottle can be reused pa!
And honestly, I prefer drinking apple juice than eating apples! haha
Wow! Wish they had that here in Korea, too 🙁
Haven’t tried this yet, but looks yummy!
