What I Got from National Bookstore’s Color and Calligraphy Fair!

Yesterday, I gave you a virtual tour of National Bookstore’s Color and Calligraphy Fair.

Now let’s get to the juicy part: the loot!

All the bloggers and members of the media who attended the fair’s media preview went home with a handful of bags containing gifts from the generous sponsors and the awesome peops from National Bookstore themselves. Here’s mine!

I had to go somewhere so I wasn’t able to open the bags and explore the gifts until later that evening. When I got home, though, I noticed that the bags have been re-arranged. Someone at home obviously had fun looking at the supplies inside (I’m not the only stationery junkie at home!).

Had to return the stuff to their original bags to take this picture LOL! (Look, I have a photobomber!)

Let me show you what’s inside the bags:

This set of pens from Uni

Uni Hi-Density Lead Pencils

Uni-Ball Signo in green, pink, and yellow

Uni-Ball Air

Uni-Ball Signo

Uni-Ball Eye in 7 colours

Pens from Pilot

Pilot Drawing pens in different tips

Pilot Acroball in red, blue, and black

And bless their heart, a retractable Pilot Frixion (Clicker)

Faber Castell

Pens, colour pencils, a highlighter, an eraser, and a sharpener from Faber Castell

A pen pouch and a notebook from Limelight

Simbalion Water Color Cake from Derwent

Prestige Paper

A cool calendar made of ROCK PAPER from Prestige Paper

Marvy Uchida

Scissors, calligraphy pens, and acrylic paint markers from Marvy Uchida

A whiteboard marker, drawing pens, and the cutest gel pens from Sakura

Sakura Gelly Roll in pink

Sakura Souffle in violet

Sakura Micron drawing pens in two different tips

National Bookstore

Museum Aquarelle watercolour pencils from National Bookstore

A notebook, ultra-fine markers, and fine markers from Sharpie

And a drawstring bag too that you can colour in!

Sharpie Fine Points in orange, purple, and green

Sharpie Ultra Fine Points in yellow green, pink, and blue

I tried everything (well, except for the white board marker and the calligraphy pens because they’re too broad and thick for my notepaper) and here’s how they look like:

If these were makeup products, these would be swatches hahaha

So far, my favourites are the Uni-Ball Signo’s in cute colours, Sakura Gelly Roll, and the ever reliable Pilot Frixion. I haven’t had time to play with everything yet but one thing’s for sure, everything writes really well! #pengasm
