So I’m giving up on dieting this month.
Pigging Out
Even though money is kinda tight (I forgot to include my World Vision kids’ noche buena in my budget plan! Sorry guys that I sent it literally at the last minute!), thank God there is no shortage of food around here. Thank you Lord for the generous givers around us and for the occasional extra money to enjoy food!
So even though I won’t be losing weight anytime this year (and may even gain s’more kilos – – even my puns are food – related gah), I’m just thankful the there’s always food on the table despite the sky-high medical expenses haha.
Christmas Rush
I don’t remember the last time I bought Christmas gifts from a physical store.
Just kidding, I do. Back in late 2000s I think when online stores weren’t popular yet and it was still hard to buy something over the air without a credit card? Yeah those were the dark ages.
Now perhaps 98% of my gifts are all store-bought. I don’t want to deal with with long queues and traffic jams because I value my knees too much.
Still, that doesn’t mean I’m not experiencing the Christmas rush. I think a couple of times, just as I was checking out an item from an online store, someone beat me to it. And there were technical delays and coupon problems. My consuelo de bobo is that I was doing all of these at home in a comfy chair.
But I love the rush and the feeling of crossing off someone in your gift list. What a relief.
Official Catch Up Week
With the nature of my work, I barely have to go outside so even if many of my peers still live in the city, meeting them happens just once in a blue moon.
This week though is the week before Christmas week and catching up with peers is a must!

How was your weekend?
PS: Why are my pictures pixelated? They are not pixelated in my files…

Decembers are always busy and hectic. Spent my 1st half planning for our office Christmas party, decorating and cleaning the house and buying gifts for everyone. Haizzz… tiring!
My weekends are so busy nowadays, daming weddings and bridal showers! Haha tiring but I love it 🙂
I am not techie so I am afraid I cannot answer your question about your photos being pixelated. Haha. ^-^ But I did enjoy my weekend since we dined out (pizza again) and we went shopping for my son’s Christmas party too.
You got me craving for pizza XD
It’s the holiday season, no healthy diet plan for me, I’ll start again next month, haha.
As for me, I still enjoy shopping or window shopping regardless of the season! I normally go online for hard to find ones but still want to get my hands on the item if I can before purchasing. Enjoy the season with friends and loved ones but stay away from too much lechon/crispy pata 🙂
It’s the time of the year where everyone is so busy. I can imagine the flocks of people in malls and bazaar there in the Philippines as well the traffic! No worries about the diet – It’s holiday season, so diet is on holiday too! 🙂
hahha. December means no diet for me as well. Well, I tried to count those calories before but it just made my day sad so i stopped. I am one happy eater especially if the kids are with me and I just love it.
December is a busy month indeed, and yes, I make sure to catch up with my friends and family too kaya weekends are always “booked” with get-togethers and pigging out! Cheers! Have a wonderful Holiday!
Christmas season is my favorite time of the year. Counting the months till its Christmas again 🙂
