Sooo… aside from getting into makeup (here’s my drugstore makeup haul!), I’m also getting into crafting now!
I’m not into all forms of crafting (yet), just creative planning since I’ve always used planners so I’m basically just levelling it up. And wadda you know? It can be very addictive!
As you may know, I operate on a limited budget so bargain finds are a must! I am not claiming to have an extensive smorgasbord of supplies — like what I said, I’m a beginner — and I don’t know the first thing about creative planning so basically I’m experimenting. Okay, more like groping in the dark. Haha! Seriously, though, the stuff I am about to show you are good enough for beginners like me but I’m sure crafting/creative planning experts know a lot more about the brands to buy and avoid.
Anyway, here we go! These are just some of the finds I added to my ~ hopefully ~ growing craft supplies. First up, my craft supplies haul from Daiso. I went into Daiso planning on just buying tissue and paper towels. I went out of the store with some craft supplies, a heart-shaped baking pan (not for crafting but too cute to pass up!) and, yeah, tissue and paper towels.
1. Wooden stamps
Like almost everything in Daiso, this set of stamps retail for P88. I like the designs (even though I don’t understand Japanese). My only complaint is that ink gets into the corners of the rubber and they get transferred to the paper, too.
2. Ink pads
Also P88 for a set of four. Some sets contain more stamps but the colour of this one is prettier. The pigmentation is good and it doesn’t blot (so far!).
3. Fabric tape
This was on sale! Instead of the usual Daiso P88, this was priced for only P44 for a set of two. I am in love with these fabric tapes I will go as far as saying I love these more than washi tapes! I regret not buying more!
(Not crafting supplies)
4. Heart-shaped baking pan
Come on, who can resist this? I regret not buying that muffin pan along with this baking pan. Totally going back to Daiso soon!
5. The cutest free calendar!
And here are the stuff I bought from a local mall, Gaisano Mall:
6. Washi tape
I was surprised to see a lot of washi tapes on display in our local Gaisano Mall. I wasn’t expecting this, and there were even several stamps, punchers, and other scrapbooking accessories here. I didn’t have the budget when I went there (I just went inside their school supplies section to buy intermediate pad for my sister) but I’m totally going back.
7. Wooden mini clothespins
This was also a pleasant surprise! Mini wooden clothespins for only P15? Not bad at all!
And additional helpful finds!
8. An old paper cutter I found at home
Who would have thought a paper cutter would bring such happiness? Hehehe. That night, I was printing and cutting like cuh-razy!
9. A deep, transparent pencil case
I originally picked this up at, guess where, SM supermarket (grocery), to house my calligraphy tools. However, as I bought more crafting tools and used more supplies, I realised they all could fit in here without any problem. Awesome! And it’s just P49!
Where do you buy craft supplies?

Hahaha. I’m actually a hoarder, too, Maan but I’ve just laid low these days. I’m also on a remission from my Pinterest addiction. LOL. Who knows when it will come back. Niño seems to be *prepared* for it.

Hi! I’m from Davao and I also love crafts. But I’m not familiar with Daiso. Where can I locate/find it? Thank you so much!
Hi! It’s at the Robinsons Department Store inside Abreeza. 3rd floor I think, same floor as toys and kitchenware 🙂
You can scrape the edge and the japanese character of your stamps using cutter blades.
