I’m actually on a diet but last Saturday, I just had to have a cheat day.
(I am not even losing weight yet and I already had a cheat day. Something’s not right lol!)
Anyway, the reason behind the obligatory cheat day was a pre-planned lunch date with my work colleagues. I would say we felt like catching up but, really, we were just craving for cheesecake. Yummy, creamy, delicious cheesecake. Yikes!

Photo grabbed from Jona
Two things to notice: first, Yuri’s photobombing face, and second, my round face. Ugh.
Because we wanted cheesecake, it was obvious that we would go for Tiny Kitchen. And here’s what we ordered:

Strawberry Blush (P120)

Yuri’s Frito *rolls eyes* (P175)

Sarah’s Chorizo y Tomate (P230)

My Callos a la Tiny (P290)

Jona’s Lasagna Espanol (P200)
And, because one can never have enough desserts (especially on a cheat day), I bought more desserts for takeout:

Frozen Mango Brazo and Silvanas (I can’t recall the specific prices but I think the Frozen Mango Brazo – this was the half size – was P320 while the Silvanas – pack of 4 – was P185)

Silvanas

Their award-winning Frozen Mango Brazo: layers of sponge cake, custard, mango ice cream, and meringue
Don’t worry; my family ate these! #defensive (Okay, I ate a portion. Just a little…)
Of course, I took pictures of the menu haha. (Click to enlarge)
Taste
Taste is a no-brainer. Seriously, everything Tiny Kitchen serves — from savoury dishes to desserts — is a winner. I honestly haven’t tried anything from Tiny Kitchen that did not at least make my mouth water. Anyone who visits Davao City should eat at Tiny Kitchen!
Price
Price is reasonable. Let’s be honest, Tiny Kitchen is not the cheapest restaurant you can find here, but then again, you’re paying for good food with high quality ingredients. (On the other hand, Tiny Kitchen’s prices are probably cheaper compared to those of Manila restaurants!)
Location
Since Tiny Kitchen is located at the heart of Davao City and is near every major mall there is, it’s hard to find something to complain about regarding location.
Service
Service is superb! Servers were attentive and for me, every restaurant that is child-friendly gets two thumbs up!

I’m usually not a big fan of Brazo cakes but this one has mangoes. Wow! Would love to taste that. And I’d love to try the Silvanas too. I LOVE silvanas!
