Last Mother’s Day, Red Ribbon sent me this package:
I was genuinely surprised to see my picture on the box! It’s probably one of the most thoughtful packages I’ve received from blogging. And I was even more pleasantly surprised to see what’s inside the box.
Rows of Taisan!
To be honest, those loaves of Taisan did not last long in my household. Yuri, who doesn’t even like sweets, ate one loaf at a sitting. Then again, Taisan is the perfect combination of sweet and savory. I took a bite — okay, a few slices — and instantly fell in love with its buttery taste. I remember eating Taisan when I was a kid, but it definitely tastes more delicious now!
